10th June 2020

All Goods is back open to our Studio artists and buzzing with creative projects underway and ideas bouncing about.  We’re delighted to welcome our new artists in residence for the next 3 months, Louise Stevenson  and Tuafale Tanoa’i.

We were lucky to have been in the planning stages of a series of workshops and events before we went into lockdown. They will be open to the public soon. We’re also working on the annual Whau Arts Festival!  Keep an eye out here for updates.

If you are looking for a creative community space to work from, All Goods has a variety of studio spaces available to support local artists and makers.  Our 2 single studio spaces can be used individually or collectively and we also have an open shared studio space that is used collectively and can be booked for meetings and events. As well as our inside spaces, we have a great sheltered outdoor space which can get as messy as you need.

ALL GOODS | a space for the arts

ALL GOODS (round 2!) opened its doors in March 2019.  Since then we have held exhibitions; hosted an Art residency; film evenings; hui on Gentrification; had numerous art project meetings and soup lunches.

The first ALL GOODS space was a home for lots of good stuff, (all about it here) and since then we’ve been looking for a new space..some places came close but not until late last year when the opportunity of this space came up, did we find our new art home.

We’re excited to offer a space for people to experiment, make, show and connect!

Why? | As much as we love popping up in laundromats, shop fronts, sports fields, Avondale markets, car parks and empty sections; to have a home means we have the opportunity to develop ideas, create and strengthen our connections.  This space means we can all get on with doing cool stuff, work on quality projects and remain inclusive and experimental.

Where? |  99 Rosebank Rd, Avondale | Nestled between the Avondale Community centre and Library, and previous home to the Avondale Community Preschool.

Public Open hours | We are currently closed to the public under alert level 2.

How can I (you) get involved?

Maybe you would like to curate a show, exhibit your work, run workshops, provide lessons, put on an event, rehearse, have a space to work on your creative projects, volunteer or something else we haven’t thought of.

We’d love to talk to you.  Pop in or send us a line: CONTACT US
