We are lucky in Avondale to have many individuals, organisations and businesses who share the same kaupapa, wanting our hood to be celebrated for what and who we are and for people to collectively experience that locally. After a year of being in our bubbles, it was great to pop them and be reminded of many of the choice happenings in our hood!

2-3 Beijing OperaPractising in the Community Centre every Saturday you may have heard the Beijing Opera and wondered who that was. They are an amazing group of musicians and performers, and will be in traditional costume to welcome you in for an up close experience and performance.
