We’re excited to launch our ALL GOODS photography darkroom in 2025. A passion project made possible through donated photography supplies from Kelston Girls’ College and locals, and repurposed furniture to create a fully functioning darkroom at a reduced community rate.

ALL GOODS Photography Darkroom

As a community led art space, we welcome photographers of all skill levels to use our darkroom facilities. We provide the basic chemicals (dev, fix, stop) which you are welcome to use, however you will need to provide your own paper. There is space for up to 2 users at any one time.

Darkroom rates

Darkroom hourly rate: $5.00 per hour
Darkroom day rate: $40.00 (8+ hours)

Workshop rates

We also offer refresher and beginner workshops for those wanting to learn the art of analog photography. To book a workshop please email: darkroom@whauthepeople.com

Refresher workshop: $20.00 (45 min)
This is for those that have previous darkroom experience.

Beginner workshop: $50.00 (2 hours)
This is for those that are new to the darkroom and are excited to learn.

Parking and Public Transport

We’re just off the main street in Avondale (99 Rosebank Road), nestled between the Avondale Library and Community Centre. There’s heaps of parking in the car park behind the library, or for your bicycles in our secure courtyard. It’s a 5 minute walk from Avondale train station – frequent and direct connections to Britomart and Newmarket.
