Milenko Matanovic specialises in working alongside communities to create really good public spaces and in moving from ideas to action. In this workshop he will share practical tools and approaches for Avondale locals to work together and have meaningful and real influence over the shape of the future town centre civic space.
In the courageous, complex business of community collaboration, we all have the power to boost as well as derail the process.
Join this workshop and learn how to establish clear roles and responsibilities, keep projects on track, defend against naysayers, and create the conditions for collective creativity.
Milenko’s Vision – the future for town centres:
“The community’s gathering place is the heart for communal identity, welcome, and social rejuvenation. Every neighbourhood will build such a space together that captures their collective talents, their aspirations and their appreciation of the many community connections.”
